What Does The Ride Vehicle Look Like For TRON Lightcycle Run?
TRON Lightcycle Run has a ride vehicle that is similar to the Avatar: Flight of Passage ride vehicle.
You will board the motorcycle-type vehicle and lean forward for your trip through the grid.
Can Plus Size People Fit TRON Lightcycle Vehicles?
There has been some concern about the fit of these vehicles for plus-sized guests.
In general, if you can fit into the ride vehicles for Flight of Passage, you should be able to fit on the Lightcycle Run roller coaster.
But that won’t always be the case due to some big positioning differences, namely the steel pin that locks your calves into place.
There is a test vehicle located outside the attraction if you’d like to try it before getting in line.

If you or your kids are afraid of going upside down on roller coasters, we have some good news!
TRON Lightcycle Run does not go upside down or have any inversions.

The ride is a combination of indoor/outdoor attraction.
You will spend some time outside under a light-up canopy, but the majority of the ride takes place inside where it is dark.

This is a roller coaster, which means there are hills, sudden drops, and quick turns and stops throughout the ride.
This coaster will take you up 70 feet above the ground while traveling through the outdoor portion. If you or your child are afraid of heights please be aware of this point.
While it’s a smooth ride, there are some thrills on this one!
How Fast Is Tron Lightcycle Run?
TRON is the fastest coaster at Walt Disney World reaching speeds up to 60 miles per hour.
This makes it faster than Expedition Everest and Rock ‘N Rollercoaster.

Is TRON Lightcycle Run Too Scary For Kids?
We absolutely think this roller coaster is just that: a roller coaster. And a fairly intense one at that.
There’s nothing slow about this ride.
If you have a thrill seeker who enjoys speed, Tron will not be too scary for them.
One thing to note: it’s a relatively short ride that truly only lasts 60 seconds once in motion. So even if Tron turns out to be scary, it should be a very short experience.
Age Rating: What Ages of Kids Can Ride TRON Lightcycle Run?

While this one does not go upside down, the speed certainly makes up for it!
We’d stick with kids ages 8 and up. Younger kids may not enjoy this attraction unless they are both tall enough and experienced roller coaster riders.
